Getting linked by using the same post office for stealth accounts
 

Hi Guys

Just a quick one,

Do you think you could get linked by using the same post office for sending items that you have sold through different ebay stealth accounts and submitting the tracking info to ebay & paypal.

Would they catch on that the items have been posted around the same time from the same post office?

Or am i just being paranoid!!

You're being too paranoid... Ebay have no way of linking this and they couldn't prove anything even if they did.

I have to admit this got me paranoid. I checked one of the tracking numbers on the Post Office tracking site and realised that not only did it say which Post Office the item was posted from but it was a completely different town from where my stealth account is based :doh:

Printing online is way easier than going to the post office. They are not going to track you. You are submitting this to Paypal, not Ebay unless you have a not received dispute. The tracking forms (green) ay USPS have sequential numbers. If you are really that worried, pick up some from different post office sites and mix the numbers when you ship.

it says which post office whilst in transit but when delivered it says the receipient post code and signature. if worried do not submit tracking to paypal until delivered.

actually more an issue when buying with stealth acc, eg.buy on diff address and have it sent to real address, see the tracking they put in to paypal and it shows postcode and signature. Ways round it with signature but not postcode........
