Trying to verify a new account by phone
 

So i purchased a land line mobile number from soho66, how ever it wont work i entered it into the new account ebay rang gave me the 4 digit code i entered it and it immediatly said phone number not allowed, ive tried to do it again and this time it will not ring at all. What am i doing wrong? This is my 1st time doing this area code i chose is a an area near to me however not the one i live in, or should i be using a 03333 number? Any help would be hugely appreciated.

why not just use a mobile? buy a new sim card, verify it, then take it out!

'join now' is right, buying a sim card from Tesco for 99p and using that is easier and cheaper imo

Yes, using mobile sim card is one option. Verify it by text and not by phone call. Easier.

can you do ebay by text? or you on about gmail? i have allways known i could do the gmail by text but not ebay.

Do any of you lot happen to know which sims dont need any activation/top ups to take incoming calls? I used to use orange but they want a load of registration nonsense to do it now
