have you ever heard of giff gaff?

it is a 'pay and go' sim card that runs on the o2 network (owned by o2, but not part of o2)

bassically for £10 a month you will get. 250 anytime any network mins, unlimited messages and unlimited internet.

so instead of topping up your phone, and also topping up a dongle. why not just use a giff gaff sim card in your phone. you can then tether your phone to your pc, and change ip's whenever you want + have calls, txts and internet on the go

by doing it this way you will save alot of money and its so much better.

When I go to tether off my iPhone it says go to www.o2.co.uk/modem and doesnt do anything on that page?

have you jailbroken it? you need to be able to accept any network, and also put in the settings. all the info is in that link.

i dont have a iphone, i have a nokia n8. and the app to do it is £8 in the nokia store. so i cant be of much help with that. i am sure i have seen info on the iphone on this forum though, so have a look around.

My dads with giff gaff and he get loads of minutes and text that he doesn't even use (he uses his phone a lot) and its like £5 a month....

They are good, I have to admit

£5 a month gets you, 60 mins to anynetwork anytime, 300 texts, free giff gaff to giff gaff calls. + 1 min extra for every min you are called.. great tarrif. but no internet.

Yeah thats the one... He just told me he pays an extra £5 for internet, so I think its the same as what you're talking about in the first post
