Paypal account limited, ebay account in good standing. What to do ?
 

Hiya, this is my first post on this board.

I encountered the following problem:

I have a running ebay account which is in good standing.
Until the day before yesterday, my linked Paypal account was working smoothly as well.

However, yesterday the folks at Paypal decided that my account is "linked to another Paypal account which is limited because of a policy breach."
Needless to say that my working account got limited as well.

Today I called Paypal to ask whether it was possible to use a relative's account instead. I was told that it was likely that this account will get limited as well in no time.

Another call to ebay confirmed that I may not open an ebay store without linking a working Paypal account to my ebay account.

The only option left is to upload 30 days BIN listings (or auction style listings) - without a linked Paypal account and without having an ebay store - not the worst case, given that I sell on ebay.de...and the Germans still love the old school wire transfer to pay for items.

But somehow, I consider this resolution as the second best one, because I will not be able to sell on ebay.com and ebay.com.au

I hit a dead end, didn't I ?

my best advice to you would be to forget that account and move on. its gone.

forget about using other peoples names and stuff like that.

buy the stealth book, and learn how to get back on ebay and paypal without being linked again.

As above buy the stealth guide. It will be the best money you have spent in a long time.

And you will be up and running again in no time (As long as you follow it and dont take any short cuts).

Just another quick question: Creating another ebay and paypal account in my wife's name will backfire as well, I guess ?

the same happened to me 4 weeks ago.

dump your old ebay account & move on.

don`t waste any time get the book (you can get it for next to nothing) study it and ask Q`s on the forum, you will be up running again in no time.

ebay is often left standing, it does not show as NARU - but it is not very useful for selling, as it needs paypal attached.

you can play with it and try adding another paypal but that will not last, so know the risks. It can sometimes be used for buying by means other than paypal eg. cheque...

so be honest dump it....

I have written other posts about it - the end result is just let the whole pair go for safe operations - new stealth accounts.

I would advise to forget everything about your past accounts and become stealth. I read on here for months before i bought the stealth guide and it just confirmed what i already new from all the people posting very valuable info on the threads so read read and then read some more and before you know it you will be up and running again.
