Using an Ebay US account from the UK??
 

Hi,

I am new to this so apologies for the stupid questions.

I was wondering if I bought an eBay US account can I use it from the UK?

If so how?? How do I change my IP address to a US IP address?

And should there be any other barriers that I might face besides the SSN?

I've used US eBay accounts in the past in the UK but only for buying.

You would need a US bank account which would require a US address that you can access
Netspend gives you a bank account number which I used on PayPal OK.

To get a US address you'll need to fill out a USPS 1583 form which requires a 2 forms of ID I used my passport and Drivers licence.

If you plan to sell from the UK to US buyers then shipping might be an issue unless you let people know, you can find fulfillment companies based in the USA that will send goods out for you but that might cost too much.
