Ebay Stealth is Pure Common Sense

Hi all,

Well i have been on these forums and Eb Stealth a number of months now. I have 2 accounts up and running and doing very nicely.

The point of this thread is aimed at the new people just starting up.

Eb stealth does seem daunting when you are first thinking of setting an account up but it really is pure common sense. i took things slowly and followed the guide on every step and i have come out the other end.

If you are starting out keep it SLOW and SIMPLE and read all the threads by some very experienced 'stealthers' on these forums, but do not just read the threads on the first page i went all the way back to page 6/7 on some pages and learnt the history ect and saw how stealth has evolved.

Thanks to GB GTB and others that have helped me along the way.

Common sense and DISCIPLINE

jeffweico 02-28-2012 11:58 AM

Yes, and attention to detail! Stealth is not rocket science, but it is VERY EASY - without the discipline and attention to details - to make a mistake that costs you an account. That is why the guide is so valuable. It explains everything in plain English and is kind of like a checklist as well. Even with 2+ years of experience, I refer to it often.

a lot of the problems from new members is caused by frustration and the belief that they can start over new and just start selling ⊗⊗⊗⊗ coach purses right away with no scrutiny.

accounts will go down, be it from your own doing, or just some kid at ebay with an itchy trigger finger. just dont give up, and keep at it.

Yes well said clapclap, just dont forget that ebay stealth is a dynamic process where you are always learning so keep checking back in on the forum whenever anything new crops up, and share you experiences as the situation is constantly changing and we can all benefit from hearing about new problems and how people deal with them.

I agree with johnny, i think even the older members still learn a thing or 2 everyday, a great pool of knowledge! :typing:

I'm 100% sure methods will always keep developing.

i fully agree that mistakes are easily made but with the right system in place and a routine of switching accounts it can easily become a habit.

Everytime i set up a new account i go back to the guide and start it as if i have never done a account before just incase i miss something and it also stops me cutting corners.

I know where your coming from but the trouble with habit is just that HABIT.

Habitual behaviour is done without clear thought but to be successful with stealth you need to think at all times and be disciplined in how you approach each and every step, every day.

GTB 02-28-2012 06:36 PM

discipline is key to success

if you can be disciplined to your plans you can go a long long way,i know this as i am not disciplined and could of done a lot more if i had been:doh:

routine can help but can hinder too as you get too comfortable and make silly mistakes

try not to be too complacent when it comes to the day to day running's of your stealth accounts or it will eventually cost you at some point

common sense helps with stealth but stealth is not common sense, stealth is something you need to learn and get to know well

common sense just puts the icing on the cake

clapclap 02-29-2012 05:05 AM

Sorry i should have explained myself better. I meant my routine is in place on switching accounts.

I fully agree that when listing ect you have to be on the ball and switched on at all times.

GTB 02-29-2012 05:34 AM

i knew where you was coming from bro

it all boils down to you have to be on the ball when operating

and if you got common sense it makes life alot easier
