IP address for 2 different accounts

i have a personal ebay & paypal account. I also want to open a business account. I have new details including a new log account on pc laptop into window, like a seprate log in when into windows 7. but the IP address will be the same. Will that cause any problems? Do i need to get like a ipad with a with pay as you go internet sim, that changes the Ip address to the current IP sky address .Then i can use both accounts at the same time.

IMO no - using the same IP for two accounts is an obvious link

ok Ive got 2 address. 1 is already set up and is going ok, But the business account im going to set up, the Ip address and address is suspended. But i have a new IP address on the suspended address. If i use a ipad with pay as you go internet. The IP address wont be the same would it? How about that

EVERYTHING should be different.

i.e. Name, address, IP address, bank, credit cards etc

There should be nothing that ties you to an old banned account either e/b or p/p

In order to setup a second account if you have been suspended you will need to take the following precausions to make sure there are NO links to the old suspended account

1) different bank account (confirmed) on Paypal
2) different debit / credit card on Paypal
3) different IP address to the one you use for any other ebay / paypal accounts
4) Different network card because ebay can read your mac address and they use this for linking your accounts. Ideally you should use a 2nd pc or laptop with a mobile internet dongle. Alternativly have 2 lines running into your house operating indipendantly on different PC's

You can use the same name and address but it is a bit risky.. if anything on your account causes thier automated system to flag it for a security check then it will probably be closed. So a new name and address would do well.

Get a pay as you go sim card so you can enter a different phone number into Ebay as sometimes they stop regestrations and ask to send you an automated call to prove its you asking to register the account.

Effectivly in an ideal world you want to operate the 2nd account as if it really was a different person.

If you have 2 accounts running i would also sell different things on those accounts.. sometimes they can put a stop on the account and ask for info if you are selling the same products on 2 accounts and can cause a soft link.

Houston, we have a problem.

Lear quickly the definition of different and link.

Anything old,banned,suspended,oldnbanned,suspended can not be used again.

New business account can not be used with the old banned suspended address.

Wrong as far as i know Ebay can not track you from your mac address


If you thinking about a amazon account then you should be worried.

Is the pay as you go a 3G service? Everytime you connect - you should have different IP then.

If you are running one account from one address with one I.P

you can make a business account from same address, with same computer and same ip.

For the two accounts you need

Different windows user account
Different bank account
Email
Phone number
