Hi,

I have recently set up a new stealth ebay account.

It has been linked to a new paypal account and all verified with the bank details.

It has been open for over a month and i have been general browsing, asking questions etc..still have ZERO feedback score.

I just tried to list a 'Top brand' item but a notification came up saying 'you cannot list top branded items until you confirm your identity or link to a paypal account'. However, the ebay account is already linked to my paypal (verified)??

Do you think this is because i have no feedback to date?

don't list branded named products to begin with, get sum feedback first. it raises a red flag otherwise.

AVOID!!!! being a new user and then listing branded item without any feedback. Its like wearing a red suite infront of a bull lol

Buy some lill things to get some feedbacks and start with selling normal stuff anything cheap like used home stuff or anything.

Build some feedback - you CANNOT go gung-ho on a new account like this.

Ok you guys were right!!

I listed the item and ebay has taken it off! and i have had to complete some VERO questionaire.

Is this account now no good? or can i build my feedback up safely and then start selling top brands again once my feedback score is healthy and after say 2 months??

Or is the account now always going to be watched and as soon as i list top brand items get removed??

The account is fine but don't list ve ro until you have built some solid fb

Check your sellers' dashboard. See what it shows.
2 months is still too early. You have to ensure ebay/paypal trust you. That takes a while. This takedown stays on your file. It could get looked at as a black mar. Regardless it to list such a item on a new account. Be sure to be more careful :ballchain:
