Tmobile dongle always shows US address,,

The IP address on my computer always shows that I am from Kansas, USA. ( I use tmobile UK dongle). Does anyone know how to change it? Is that going to be a problem with stealth paypal/ebay accounts?

if your in the UK then it is highly unlikely that your IP is in the US

I have a UK ISP that shows Germany on one site and UK on another

I use IPBurger.com

it is sometimes wrong as far as location is concerned.

try another site and see where that puts you

Why would he lie?

I also had the same thing when I was back in the UK, I think it was with o2 mobile broadband, I can't quite recall. Turned out to be v useful

I wouldn't.

Actually it is with an 02 dongle using a giffgaff sim, sometimes it shows my location as Germany but using other sites it shows UK where I'm actually located. No big deal.

it depends on which site you use, believe me the actual indfo (not map) on your mobile will be fairly close to real location, the map however can be all over the place - some sites more accurate maps then others - IPBurger is good in terms of the ip and the gateway info etc, but the map is all over

I use a T-mobile broadband dongle, in the UK...and i've just checked my IP and location with with whatsmyip.org...

the IP is a UK one, and the map shows a location approx 50 miles from where I actually am...

I use the dongle with pp/ebay without issues (so far...))
