I can't msg a seller what on earth is going on??
 

Right, i'm watching an auction right now and want to know a little more about the item for sale.

So I go to click "Contact member" as you do and this comes up:

So i then proceed to carry on by clicking "find answers"

And redirects me to this (didn't even know you could do that?? perhaps an option on eBay settings):

What on earth is going on?? not only does that page not have any FAQs but the search bar is useless as it don't work - i've tried 3 browsers same thing.

I've tried to contact the member on 5 other accounts still same process.

He is a private seller aswell so no contact details.

Anyone ever seen anything like this before?

This has really p***ed me off :rant:

Now thats what I call stealth..... but seriously if anyone can find a solution to this i'll call them King or Queen for life.

I have thought about using his/her user ID from the bar and playing around with that to figure something out.

typical. No have not seen it but they have been trying to hide the contact seller behind FAQs for a while now, but you were able to do so, it says did this answer your question yes/no and then it was contact button.

bad move for sellers and ebay, as people want to ask questions, and will not bid if cannot or may result in cancellations and refunds, when buyer risks bidding and misunderstands what is on offer.

is this seller a big time seller

sometimes when a seller gets too many messages you cannot send one

I wasn't even gived the yes or no option or the option to choose like below:

Postage (3)
Combined postage (0)
Pay for the item (1)
Returns (1)
Other (0)

It should give me that but it doesn't at all - very strange no way to possibly contact this guy so far.

I may just use ebay live chat, see what they have to say about this matter, havn't used it for years.

Doubt it tbh.

He's only got 3 auctions up and a few feedback for selling although he has 400+ fb mostly buying.

It's some bull bro, i'm looking to buy an item of this guy looks like he lives close but i just need to confirm if he don't mind me collecting - otherwise i'll be stuck with huge postage costs when i live in the same town as the seller.

good luck finding ebay chat for uk time. There is a pacific timezone one, but it is never on in my waking hours it seems....

Yeah it's the pacific timezone one, i'll have to work around our hours i guess.

What a pain this is turning out to be - i hope the seller doesn't get in trouble when i do speak to someone in live chat, i want to win my item first and then they can do what they like with the seller lol. :doh:
