Default Ebay asking me to accept cookies....?

Greetings folks!

I've just logged into my ebay 'stealth' account as usual and for the first time a web page popped up saying that I had to enable cookies. I was able to just continue to the 'Selling' page though. Whats this all about? Are they going to make it compulsory? If so this is surely going to have implications for us 'stealthers', especially when operating multiple accounts. Is it anything I / we need to be concerned about or is it something I can just ignore and carry on as usual?

ta!

Johnny

Are you using a new web browser?

Best advice is always enable cookies and dont delete them. Using separate windows user accounts keeps them separate and prevents linking.

Eh? YOu are saying to accept cookies and not clear them? Surely that contradicts the eBay Stealth advice? Or have things changed?

If its on a separate user account from all your other ebay accounts then it shouldn't matter if you enable the cookies, right?

Thats correct. If you set up a new user on your computer you have no reason to delete

cookies because they cannot link you.

Just make sure you name the new account under the same name as your stealth account.

You will notice this on quite a few websites at the moment saying that by using the website you agree to their usage of cookies. Mey have been a change to t&cs with regard to third party cookies and advertising.

e/b & p/p are the cookie monsters so let them have them, it keeps them happy.

Just use separate user accounts as suggested.

'the begining of the account' is the crux
