hi, im not new to the forum and i have bought the book just can't log into my old forum account so registered.

Anyway thanks to the book i have successfully been trading on ebay as a business for 5 months got power-seller status and Top rated seller no limits on paypal and 600 and something selling limits.. My problem is my account is registered at my mums address, she is now moving and i can no longer have access to the address as it is too far away, as i am a business i do get a few returns so i need to change the address would it be safe to change the address to a abbreviation of my current address ( which is still the suspended address) or will this get me shut down?.. I really want to start taking this seriously and run a successful ebay business.

To be honest i have been searching for hours and can't seem to come up with a safe option that's why i decided to post, i don't wanna mess this account up its doing so well and my sales are improving all the time. i have just hit a brick wall with the address. Really don't want to have to start paying for a po box address. just wanted some advice from the forum :)

try a pobox as your return address..

registering a variation of your own address on ebay is a bad idea..but you could have a sticker on on back of package with the variation and refer people to it via private email.

other option if you want to operate stealth, and you get relatively few returns, would be just refund without need for them to actually return it...and build costs in to your business plan, only works with lower priced items though..or say in cases of a dispute.

i also forgot to say that i live in a new build and when i first moved in we were given a different post code and slightly different road name to the one that is registered on the banned account and i still get mail with the the old postcode on, would it still be stupid to change it to the old postcode, or should i just leave well alone like u guys said?
