Default Business seller information

Business seller information - this is at the bottom on all my listings on ebay, is it possible to not disclose this information on listings? How does one go about removing it ?

Thanks

If you are registered as a business then the answer is no it cannot be removed or hidden in any way. You are legally obligated to display such information

You can however "tweak" what is displayed.

No big secret.

You don't have to display absolutely all info. You can for example remove the phone number etc.

Edit settings within My EBay.

If the account is set up correctly then there should be no issues arising from having the business info displayed.

Every account I have is 'Tweaked' - we don't appreciate unwelcome callers and there are some funny people out there (I'm sure one or two of them are on here - LOL)

I noticed the other day that eBay users can now report a Business not showing it's information correctly. I did this once to force a competitor to show it so I knew who it was.

It seems alot of competitors take it upon themselves to report anyone who is selling more than them.

I think EB should automatically send you the contact info of the person who has

reported you so you can pay them a visit and...

I'm going to completely remove the address. Could save me a bit of bother down the road.

Do you ever have adventures?

What mysteries have you discovered when you sign into your ebay account?

If you are thinking of doing this to a registered ebay business account, think carefully about removing ALL the info.

It might harm your account
