Do you actually need a bank account added to verify an account?. Eg. Can i create an account, add a VCC, then rake in cash and then use that cash to buy stuff?

In theory yes but I have not heard of anyone who has done it successfully

I can confirm that you need a UK Bank Account to 'verify' a UK PayPal Account.

A US Bank account will not verify a UK PayPal Account, nor will any sort of vcc as lots of users seem to get confused with.

If you add a VCC, you can rake in cash and buy stuff.
It will up your spending limit, not sure to what though because I don't live there.
Your account WILL NOT be verified until you add a bank account though, but you should be able to spend cash by adding a VCC.

You will need to be very lucky indeed to make that one fly and if you do it is a maximum of £650 (I think) in any 12 month period
