ebay contact number.

I need to use my contact number (mobile) that was used on a prievious ebay account on my address page of my current account (about 4 months old now) would it be ok to reuse this mobile number so that i can be contacted incase of missed delivery? I never sell any vero or high risk items on
this account and have 100% feedback and powerseller.

If your previous ebay account was limited then its almost likely that you will get linked.

Get a new SIM CARD and add it to your account.

The number was removed from the banned account a while back, does this make a difference? If I keep my nose clean there's no reason it should get flagged is there?

EB keep a record of all your details so by using that number you are likely to get linked to your new account.

As mentioned above you will need to use another number that you have not used on EB before

If the number is on my current account now and I remove it, will they still beable to see it was added at some point?

All info is held indefinitely by eBay & paypal whether you remove the info or not.

Do not re-use any previously used info as you will risk getting linked and suspended.

so what your sayin is that you have added the number and now you want to know if your account is going to be limited/suspended or what ever.

YES. At some point.

MOST UNWISE decision.

Avoid using anything linked to all old suspended accounts.

Just do not even think of doing something so silly:rip:

99p gets you a new sim and new number

£7 gets you a new phone and sim and your good to go

why even consider reusing such a trivial thing as a mobile number

will get you burned

Listen to what everyone is saying. They know what they're on about.

Yes. You will be linked. Stop thinking from a biased and hopeful point of view.

even 0.01p on ebay will get you a sim with free delivery (they must lose money on this haha) so just do that.

Dexter-uk 07-03-2012 06:02 AM

Thanks fior all your advice and have ordered a new sim

Rule: Do NOT use any old info period. Everything is stored with eb and pp even if you remove it later.
