paypal hold inconsitencies
 

on a new stealth account

no ID sent and not verified on ER

7 days old

21 day holds on first 5 transactions

added tracking and then called PP to tell them and say "what does this mean"

no holds on any transactions since

ie asking what 21 day holds are?

this is usually down to how you added your bank account.

it might stay like that but it may go back to normal 21 day constant

usually if you have all your cookies, flash cookie and dom storage and so on diasabled on account like this they usually stay away.

whats cookies etc got to do with not getting holds, dont most people here keep them stored??

i always get holds for a long while

i dont have clue what its got to do with it but....

when i added and remove savers account, it take the 21 day hold from been consistant to intermittant, however when i have done it on account where i have no cookie, dom storage, flash cooekies and all that, they have very intermittant until its time for them to disappera, if that makes any sence.

New PayPal account got hold for 21 days, but money gets released on receipt of positive feedback on eBay

Yep - new account - 10 pos feedbacks to date - 10 emails from PayPal saying money on those released - made 3 withdrawals so far.
Account 2 months old but only been listing for 3 weeks. 21 items listed so far.

a tip is the strength of an account is based on factors, one of which is BUYING substantial amounts/prices, not 99p items.....

Thank god it dosn't always happen like that.

they were out of stock too

they refunded payment
