Default Anyone tried RBS current acc "select silver" with ebay/pp?

I tried to open new accounts with RBS recently but it was fail because I already openned many in the past year. Now I am thinking to try "select silver" that you have to pay £8 per month. Is it gonna be easier to open because it's not free account? and does it work with ebay/pp?

or can you please suggest easy to open bank accounts. I don't mind paying upto £15 per month because it's worth my income from ebay. Thank you

How many did you open with them? And are they all still active?

Now days its very very easy to open a bank account with any bank, they have a huge competition with each other, and actually trying to steal customers from other banks.

Go to any bank and tell them you are willing to transfer all your DD from your existing bank, and they will open you an account.

yesterday I opened an account with Halifax,They give me £100.00 for free

If I tell them to transfer all my DD from my existing bank, will my existing bank close my accounts?

Be careful of this.. You are making problems for yourself with the banks.

if you leave no funds in your RBS they might close the accounts.

Why not look at savings accounts.

You should be trying to avoid getting soft credit checks

saving account will not work for ebay/paypal? since it will debit your money and saving account won't allow you to do that? can you please confirm. Thank you.

depends how you want your paper trail to look on what to do with the RBS and if its seen its days with PP, no point having it lying around for prying eyes.

GB gave good advice.
