was sat out the back in the glorious sunshine earler thinking this cookie and ip thing that ebay and paypal is bonkers

i used to own a shop on the high st... used to :> thanks to the recession :nono:

but we used to take paypal as a payment option

folks used to be able to come in and make a purchase and pay by paypal... many did... was thinking it possibly led or helped toward me and possibly some of them (unknown) going on to get blocked

logging into there accounts on my cookied up and different ip address pc to pay there purchases hahaha

surely cant ebay/paypal accept that i might want to go to my mums or a friends house log into my accounts on there computers and do a bit of surfing and paying for purchases of items i cant wait to see if ive won

what a crock of a system

feel sorry for the countless folks accounts now who came in my store and logged into there own accounts to pay me hahah

Re-train the mind set now.

Accept paypal IS bonkers.

Accept that you have found a forum that will show how to deal with the unbalanced ones.

Avoid a crusade to prove otherwise or you will damage fledgling accounts.

Learn to run paypal not have them run you. :amen:

Another solid rule of thumb that you should consider...do NOT use pp unless you ABSO-fugging-LUTELY have to.

^^ so true. you just read turboman's opening post through and have to hold your head in your hands as to how this company is soooo huge and soooo successful considering the likes of the most basic issues like that. bonkers indeed.
