Google Wallet/Checkout also for UK Users?
 

Hi - I can't see much in the forum regarding google wallet - are there many people using it, and is it available in the UK? Maybe a dumb question to ask, apologies if you have answered this before somewhere.

I'm looking at using it for private websales - paypal is totally f@@ked up at some of the stuff I sell - not illegal and not immoral, just they tenuously claim it violates their AUP.... so am looking for an alternative way for my customers to pay me.

i think others use it with sucess, not sure but my advice would be stear clear, they can be cnuts

have you concidered something like ccnow ?

googlecheckout is ok, they ask you for all your ID fairly early....but no probs fairly easy to use....

I have used google checkout with great success (even vero eb items) in the past never had an issue.. I don't do vero anymore and have used it for private web sales too.

However it recently changed to google wallet which I haven't got any experience at all, if its anything like google checkout you will be fine, i would choose them over pp anytime.

google checkout are great

they actually allow you to be generally useless for a LONG before hitting you with suspensions

yup I like GC, I have tried most of the others and they are either as bad as paypal hold-wise or they are v expensive and still not perfect.
