Default packing items

does anyone who hates packing a particular item or series of items

ive had a busy week n one specialized account

ive yesterday/ today had to package 70 of this item

its awkward, large and difficult to pack and very fiddly and time consuming

had to fill the van up twice in one afternoon to get them to the sorting office

theres good money in them but what a day

i agree, it's funny that when i lost my legit selling acct i was gutted obviously (er, hence being a member here on stealth lol) but since i'm up and selling again its like i've remembered all the bad things that i totally forgot about when suspended, the top of the list being packaging up the blooming items.... from stock place, to in front of me to describe, to back to stock place, to waiting for payment, then dragging out all the packaging from the stock place, putting the unused back, oh my goodness.... yep, it's certainly the packaging up then lugging to post items that does it for me too- i totally agree with you theyscrewed_metoo!

My main gripe is when an order gets delivered from one of my suppliers. Depending on the products, can take several hours to sort out.

I really dont mind packing items. My motivation is the fact the items have been sold. Cha-ching!

I pack my own items, write out my own labels ( no printer)

Saves a lot of money in the long run, a pen costs me 20p at most.

I had no other costs until recently when royal mail changed their white labels to gold ones.

I enjoy posting, as it means I am shifting stock, which is always good.

Everyone does or did packaging and posting. I have 4 days that I ship all my items on.
Quick questions though. Do you buy your boxes or get them for free.
Particular size's I buy but the rest I try to get them free from people that have moved recently or
small shops that get wholesale deliveries and don't need the boxes anymore.

One thing I HATE is opening a box filled with packing peanuts, fiber-filled envelopes suck hard too.

They always leave a MESS, no one in their right mind should ever use them to packing items.

I try to box up everything as soon as it arrives, and then just slap a shipping label on it so when I sell it I just drop it off where appropriate on my out.

Because of my location I try to sell only small things. I have one size envelope that i use for nearly everything. Grab the item, stuff it in the envelope.
Then the fun starts.
For every single item i sell I must produce 3 customs docs and a declaration sticker. According to international potal regs I do not have to do it for low value items - but try telling that to the people in the post office
Still - as Ebayorbust said Cha-ching!
