| | | | | JamieG | 08-22-2012 06:07 AM | PayPal address n user but diff bank address? Hey,
Ive previously got blacklisted from PayPal for selling 'downloadable media' (Game Contents) so i cant create a new account..
Anyway, i was wondering whether i could open an account under my Grandma's name and address as she doesn't have paypal..
Next i was going to set up a brand new bank account in my own name at a local branch.
To lift my limit I'm going have to verify my bank account (no problem as it's mine) - but then again will i get flagged on paypal for having the same name? I could set the bank account address up to my dads house which is where i live half the time and my blacklisted paypal address was at my mums house..
But will this flag my account? - The again there are many Jamie's in the world..
Secondly, will they have a problem that my address registered on PayPal will be different to my banks home address and also them being under two different names?
And then finally do I need to do something with my IP Address or is that only for people from blacklisted countries? (Im from England)
Thank you so much! |

| TheGenius | 08-22-2012 10:51 AM | Make the ebay and paypal in ALL new details. Its not recommended to use a relatives address and name for obvious reasons but well.. she's old anyway :P Joking don't get your nana arrested.
Link this paypal account to a new bank account in your name and address you have not used with ebay or paypal before. You can register it on Paypal under any name. PP will not see your bank information. When you go to verify the bank use your stealth name.
You will definitely need a new IP and must take care to never log in with the IP you were banned with. I recommend purchasing a 3 mobile dongle on a rolling months contract. |
| JamieG | 08-22-2012 11:00 AM | Im not using ebay anymore.
I need a paypal account because im setting up a website to sell my goods now. Then i dont have to pay ebay fees n i wont get caught this time because someone reported my listing to paypal.
So i just need to mispell my name when creating an account on paypal.. will use Jaime instead of Jamie ;) (SEE WHAT I DID THERE)
Can i not just log into paypal with my TOR browser?
And i logged into my paypal account through my PC at my dads but i never created my acc on that PC, can i not use it to log in with the current IP?
Cant i just ring up my ISP and maybe pay to change my IP Address?
Thanks for your help guys! |
| JamieG | 08-22-2012 02:13 PM | Ok thanks for your advice. Gunna go tomorrow morning to sort my bank account out..
For my IP Address.. cant i just ring up my ISP and tell them to change my IP Address? Then it will be different to the one i got banned on? Will this work?
Also, why is it everytime i post something it needs to be approved by a mod? So damn frustrating... |

| JamieG | 08-23-2012 03:55 PM | Last quick question, if i ring my ISP to change my IP Address will that work? |
| Stigger | 08-24-2012 03:01 AM | here we go again......
BUY A DONGLE...
YOU MAY HAVE LINKED YOUR DADS ACCOUNT.
Your probally going to link your new one too.
You need to listen to what been said.
Another thing you need to do , is change computer or create a new user account for this new set up. |

Being associated and being limited two diff things..
What does creating a new user to use paypal do btw? I read about it before but didnt understand it, thanks |
| GreenBean | 08-24-2012 05:07 AM | Helps users who are not know-alls or cheapskates.
Have you some inability to understand that you are compromising the paypal account?
It's the cost of business you have to pay for items to allow you to work. |

Ive been using it for like 6 months, it may be associated with my banned account but i have not incurred any problems with it and neither has paypal. |
No choice but to go stealth - read and learn and apply. All the best. |

They change your IP Address everytime you log in doesn't it?
Seems alot of kerfuffle but i understand why |
| uscool | 08-24-2012 06:43 AM | Hi, i have a contract with tmobile sim only, its £8 a month, 300min, 300 texts, 500mb data but unlimited browsing and email etc, so no need to worry about any limit, i use a galaxy s3 to tether into my laptop every time i turn 3g on and off i get a new IP address, weird thing is when i check on whats my ip address site always gives different location, i can be anywhere in uk ?? |
| slim jim | 08-24-2012 10:01 AM | complaining about paying £10 a month to help you make money? you are in the wrong field |

1) Ebay likes it when you don't delete cookies.
2) If you log into both accounts on the same user they are linked. If you divide accounts to separate users the accounts will never be linked via cookies.
Btw they're not choc chip, Google them if you don't understand. Quote:

Seems alot of kerfuffle but i understand why | No kerfuffle at all. You understand why you can't log in to two different accounts on the same IP? Well ebay will know those two accounts belong to the same person and they will become linked i.e if one gets banned so will the other. You want to look like you're a separate person. A dongle will give you a new IP every time you connect. This coupled with a separate user "fools" ebay into thinking that you are two different people and the accounts are not associated in any way to each other.
Just because it's "been fine" doesn't mean it will stay that way. You are being closely watched. |

Again, im not planning on using ebay.
PayPal shouldnt associate others on the same IP as someone that got banned. Guilty by association if you like. That shouldnt happen but then again PayPal can do what the **** they want and theyre wankers for it.
And tbh i still dont know why i shouldn ring my ISP to get them to change my ISP, then i dont have the IP that i got banned on. Then they have nothing to link me via my previous IP address.. Why buy a dongle that gives you a new IP address EVERY time you log in? |
