What day of the month do Ebay review and alter selling limits?

i think it matters when your account was created but i am not too sure. if your 30 days period goes past the 20th then i think any changes (limits, etc...) would show up only in the following month

I know this is the UK category, but for the US (at least on all my accounts)...

1) Selling limits are changed/altered/determined on the 1st of the month.

2) Top Rated Seller is determined on the 20th of each month.

3) Power Seller evaluation is done on the 18th of the month.

thats what i am hoping...I have a good account a little past 90 days of selling...all 5.0 in all dsr categories...i hope it increases at the beginning of the month...i have 22 feedback...no issues...just the 10/500 limit

thought about trying to increase it...

What happens if i try and increase it by requesting higher selling limits...not by calling, but by clicking the link...and it wont let you for some reason...is the account dead...

It's just for the last couple of months limits have been increasing before the end of the month and I'm limited out on all of my accounts that have limits - 4 of them.

When trying to list 2nd item on new account. I got flag saying that there are categiry limits, and could be lifted if i verify identity by clicking link..i have never done this..what happens when u click?

I always thought selling limits where lifted on the 28th in the US. I swear I always get lifted right before the 1st when it gets reset.

Thanks for letting us know...i searched high and low to see when ebay alter/determine selling limits....im trying to avoid the dreaded phone call but i have 80 feedbacks (62 from selling) well over 100 transactions all positives and 100%....and high dsrs.....im hoping by thursday it'll change....

On my accounts I have to phone every month or they won't increase. The date is determined on what date you started selling.

I just checked...my first sale was March 9 2012....so its technically the beginning of the month as far as dates

its different for different people.

for my acccounts some have been on the 1st and some have been on 20th

All my accounts that have had changed limits have been around the 20th of the month.

if you have a verified PP account (bank confirmed & VCC connected & confirmed) & max out your 10 / 650 limits then request higher limits it usually does it to 25 / 750 without sending you a letter or making a phone call.

I have 5 Stealth accounts.

Account 1 - Nov 2011 - Selling Limit 60
Account 2 - Oct 2012 - Selling Limit 130
Account 3 - Oct 2012 - Selling Limit 200
Account 4 - Feb 2013 - Selling Limit 900
Account 5 - Apr 2013 - Selling Limit 10

I've not had an increase on any of my accounts since March, except account 4 which went from 300 to 900 this morning (got an email confirmation of this from eBay).

I sell identical items on all 5 accounts. I wish I knew how eBay worked out the limits, what the rules are. There must be a formula.

Sorry, account was created in January of this year, went from 25 to 300 at the end of March, and this morning went from 300 to 900/£10,800.

That's still impressive ;)

My limits generally increase on the 1st of every month but some of them increase on the date of the month when my account was created. The latter usually applies if I do not ask for the limits to increase.

My account recently have not only been increased on a certain date of the month but I have noticed after a receive a certain amount of feedback my limits have increased.

I have increases at all different times beginning, middle and end of the month and feedback lately hasn't been an issue I had accounts that had feed back score O get a 100/5000 raise and feedback of 20 300/30,000, also Paypal holds have been lifted with as little as 9 feedback so if you have many accounts you will see alot of variety when it comes to. Limit increases but alot do come when u are left with 0 items left and than log out log back in and surprise nice raise so sell to ur limits

I had to come on here and tell someone about my experience with selling limits. I am pleasantly surprised.

My limits have raised organically over the last two months around about the beggining of the month. Sold to my limit first month, not quite to limit second but got upped to 60. Wasn't expecting anything at the end of this month as not going to get to limit. Selling about two items per day. Slow and steady wins the race!! But just logged in today 19th and have been upped to 125! Don't know what I have done right there but there you are. Well chuffed. Hope I can keep it going.

Need to start another couple at least and hopefully should be flying by summer.

Just thought i'd add my 2 pence worth if it helps anyone. I guess the moral is Ebay does what the hell they like!!:heh:

what i want to know is how people manage to max out their limits on 4-5 accounts with at least a 10/650 limit? 2600 revenue per month seems good to me! :)

I've looked and nowhere on my page tells me I can only sell x amount or make x pounds.
I'm a Bronze Power seller with a shop if that makes any difference.
