Paypal withdrawal problem old fully verified real account

Hi everyone;

I have been using this account over 6 years or so and daily basis i withdraw 200-500 pounds every evening and never had problem at all until now.

Just tried to withdraw as usual and i keep getting this email and error;

Problem with your recent withdrawal request...

Dear Bla Bla,

You recently made the following request to withdraw funds from your PayPal account to your bank account:

Amount requested to be withdrawn from PayPal: £xxx.xx GBP

Bank account: NATIOxxxxx x‐xxxxxxxxx

Transaction ID: xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

However, this withdrawal request was declined by your bank for one of the following reasons:

The bank account number does not exist or is invalid
The bank branch listed in your PayPal account does not exist
The bank does not accept electronic withdrawals
Another reason not specified by your bank
The relevant funds have been returned to your PayPal account. For further details on the return, you’ll need to contact your bank.

And i tried 2 times but both times £0.50 reduced from my balance and gave me same error. I have been using same bank account since i registered there wasnt any problems like this till now.

Has anyone got any clue whats this means?

Thanks in advanced

Current or savings account? Direct deposit enabled? Verified with the same bank account?

Go into your Paypal account and check that the bank account is till listed in your profile. Then get back to us

I have just had this on 1 withdrawal this evening.

I was concerned when the email told me (received 30 seconds after requesting the withdrawal) that my bank account had been removed.

I logged into PayPal and sure enough the bank account was still there. I then repeated the withdrawal, and so far i've received no email telling me there is a problem.

Thanks for your replies. Its current account and fully verified. Yes bank account still listed there as primary bank account. I never had this problem over 5 years been using same accounts on paypal. Apperantly after searching on paypal forums too many people experience same problem.

I have no ideal tho as never happened to me before in many years.

Thanks

I know it's a late reply. This happened to me. Spoke to the bank (Co-op) they said they would never refuse a payment into the account. Spoke to PayPal they said they had a problem during a system upgrade on 26-28 Aug & some payments weren't actioned & this email was sent out in error. Tried the next day without any problem.
Why PayPal didn't consider it necessary to advise all those concerned abount the error is beyond me.

The simple answer is

paypal has a left hand that never knows what the right hand is doing.

Beyond their ability to ever notify account holders of very much.:brushteeth:

And I'm guessing that your left hand didn't know that the right hand already made this post?
