old ebay account

hi all

I am new to this so if this has appeared somewhere before I apologise but i have trawled through various threads and cannot seem to find the answer.

Ok so i got an email today from ebay regarding an old ebay account that i opened in 2006 that i forgot I had and never used.

The email address that was registered with that account was also used for another account I had with ebay that then got suspended.

I have now logged back into the old 2006 account using a new user on my laptop and changed the email address to a new gmail address that i have set up as i was going to set up a stealth account.

I have not linked a paypal account to the old account and the address is still my previous address which was never suspended

My question is will the old account have been linked to the suspended account as it was using the same email address and the same name etc
If it has not been linked and I open a new pappal account using this name but slightly different and the same address with new account details will this get the account suspended

I hope this makes sense any help would be greatly appreciated

So currently you have two ebay acc that using the same computer?

1 acc was suspended years ago. What did ebay say rgd your suspended account?

Btw. If the answer for the above question is yes. I think it's very risky for your current account

It might get suspended as well

But one funny experience. Long time ago, I was having a suspended ebay acc. Keep sending documents to lift, but no avail

Give up, then months ago I tried my luck to access that acc. You know what, it gets normal again :)

Well, ebay is such a bitch*. But well, we all earn $$ from there lol

I actually never logged into the 2006 account on the computer I have under the ip that got my other account suspended.

I changed the ip and then logged into the 2006 account and changed the email and the address so the only similarity is the name and the initial email address which has now been changed.

I am going to give it a go and see what happens the worst they can do is suspend it and as i didnt even know I had it i wont miss it i will just have to continue with my original plan of opening a new account.

thanks for the input though

One login may not cause problems but avoid repetition.
