Calling iPhone users (on 3 network)

I'm trying to justify buying the new iphone tehe :P and one of the reasons would be if I could use it instead of my £15.99 p/m dongle.

Does anyone currently tether their iphone and can confirm they can get a new IP every time they connect it?

The one plan on 3 looks especially tempting as they allow unlimited internet with tethering.

You would get a new IP address regardless of the type of phone used. I tether my Samsung Galaxy S III on 3 and get a new IP when I turn on flight mode, disable it and then tether again. There isn't anything specific to the iPhone that would make the procedure any different.

Ok thank you. I've never tethered my phone so didn't know if they got static ips unlike dongles.
