Attaching bank to families paypal ?
 

Whats the protocol for attaching a bank account to a families paypal?

I have access to a well established solid family members ebay/paypal but obviously to withdraw the money I need it to be one of my bank accounts (I've set up a new one)

Do I attach the new bank account in there name or do I use my own name. can ebay suspend the account if I add a bank which is in my name, this person lives at a different address to mine and ive never logged onto ebay at there house so cant link me on address/IP

And before anyone mentions risks using a real persons account this is to run a legit business, nothin risky or dodgy.

If possible I'd like to use my name as this is going to be a long term account to run a legit business and you never know in the future if paypal will do something so the name on the attached bank accounts is transparent or what if they ask for proof etc, I don't want to get screwed down the line

Attach the bank account in the name of the person on the Paypal account. Do NOT add extra names if you want the account to survive.

It doesn't matter whether your business is legit or dodgy - if Paypal take against you it is history - as many postings on this forum will confirm

I suggest you do some more studying before proceeding any further

bank acc. is fine, i doubt they can link you though bank accounts,

re-read what the OP is thinking of doing. They are NOT on the right path to getting a good stealth account going long term.

And yes, paypal have pulled nasty tricks by limiting accounts where a same bank was used. If I shared my little black book, I would show you. But I dont.

Maybe best to contact pp in advance with your plan and work with an agent if you are going to do big business.

Get a business account too for tax purposes.

this is just a 2nd bank account added to the paypal, when you add a 2nd bank account it gives you the option to edit the first name (not surname) I am assuming this is because people add there families banks onto paypal ? I don't see how this would raise an alarm with paypal as we share the same surname

I've read on another thread the best thing to do is add a bank and don't confirm the deposits as its not needed as its an additional bank, whats the thinking behind that ?
