New PayPal & Etsy
 

I know there are quite a few posts on the Etsy/PayPal combination but I can't seem to find one regarding my specific question:

I have one more stealth PP that's active right now. If that goes, then...

Anyway, the eBay account linked to it has been suspended, pending documents to prove my business blah blah blah. But the PayPal account is still active :/

My Etsy shop has been getting a lot of attention over the last few weeks. Would it be ok to accept payments with that stealth PayPal (all stealth info) and leave eBay completely?

I should point out that my address to accept cheques/money orders on Etsy is my actual home address (that PayPal have blacklisted) but that's just there to accept payments other than PayPal. Would my real address show up if people were to pay via PayPal or would the stealth address that's registered with that PP show up on the receipt?

So you have not used the pp for etsy yet? As long as etsy is not owned by pp/eb, I would not see this as a problem.

The address registered on pp would show up on the payment receipt.

Ok thanks, was just a bit paranoid that PayPal would also collect the address I have registered on my Etsy account for offline payments, even though it's got nothing to do with making PayPal payments! You never know what information they're collecting :mad:

As long as it's safe, I'll go ahead and add the stealth PP to my Etsy. Let's pray Etsy is not owned by EB/PP and never will be!

I wish I could accept credit/debit card payments on Etsy, would be so much easier but they don't allow you to do that unless you're registered in the US :(
