ok starting a new paypal and ebay account.
so far
bought a ebay account from friend. it has 35 feedback and business account , account is 2 years old
hes deleted all his details from account.
i have new laptop only connected to a new dongle so no ip connection to old account
so im guessing ebay account should be fine
now paypal
i have a new prepaid card setup from work address not my home addy
what else can i do , think just bank account is it worth getting a paid bank account just for the verification purpose
any one else see any flaws etc

firstly be careful suddenly changing all details on the ebay at once, as it could look like a hack.

also the old details are still on their files -that is not necessarily a problem though.

so you made the paypal yourself to match the details, you are intending to add to ebay? bit unorthodox but it can work.

you said prepaid bank, just to verify - why are you intending to remove it, and how do you intend to get money out if no bank.

Seems ok but changing info quickly could cause problems.

Make sure your products are good too

havent made the paypal yet ,
got bank accout sorted , didnt go for one of them 12.99 month ones in end just opended a normal one up

products are fine , no brand names etc

is it better to setup up paypal with deatails to match ebay or change details on ebay to match my new paypal details as i would like y paypal details to be closer to home as ebay account registerded in brighton im in birmingham

That's a major flaw for starters.

His old info is still on 'their side'.
What have you done regarding 'new' info. I would expect ebay to maybe ask for ID. Did you think of that?.
Being two years old does not count in the eyes of ebay. It will be seen as a new account.

he gave me password and unlinked his paypal account and changed emaill adress over to me

i suspect you will at least have to keep the same name, as if you have just changed address and possibly changing the nature of the paypal may explain the reason for the paypal change, as you are allowed two paypals, one business and one personal.

Just think of it that way ( That you moved house and you are changing the nature of your selling) and it may work, as they are used to that.

if you're a woman you could even change your second name.

But as others have said they will want ID
