What services do you guys use for the most reliable call forwarding to your mobile number?

I have tried uknumber co .uk but doesn't appear to be working at all.

I have used Soho66 in the past...

Using mobile numbers is just as good too....

I'd happily use a mobile number put last time ebay wanted to call me with my verification pin, they asked for a landline only number as they no longer accept mobile numbers.

SOHO66 is perfect for ebay. £2 per number per month, £5 top up and that can be used for all numbers.

You can have the calls direct to your mobile.

They also let you upload an mp3 where you can quickly say your ebay account name and that will play to you when you answer the phone so you know which account the call is regarding. The other line just hears ringing while the "whisper" track plays.

Jwoody8, when did you hear that Ebay were no longer accepting mobile numbers? If thats the case then they've backtracked on a decision they made a couple of years ago to accept mobile numbers. Has anyone else had any problems with using a mobile number to verify an EBay account?

They literally said, please insert a landline number as we do not accept mobile numbers.

I will be setting a new account up in the next week or so. I'll let you know how that one goes

Well I'm glad mobiles are still ok, god it used to be a nightmare when it had to be a landline. In the days before VOIP phones I can remember using the nearest public payphones numbers and having my mate waiting at the callbox for the call with the pin code to come through as I was sat up the road using the local libraries internet to register my account!

I can remember a middle aged man using a computer a few feet away overheard some of what we were doing, and he suddenly burst out into this outraged speech about how we were using public facilities to commit fraud...!?! Ha ha ha! I think he thought we were hacking some bank for thousands of pounds or something - chance would be a fine thing!

Also used the local pubs payphone while using their free wi-fi to access the internet on my laptop while enjoying carvery dinner and a pint of black sheep ale one Sunday afternoon several years ago.

So think yourself lucky Jwoody8 that all these clever folks on here have gone through all the trial and error crap to let you know the best ways to get trading on Ebay again.
