raising 25/750 limits

Used to be easier to raise limits on new accounts to 100/3500, just linking Ebay to a fully verified paypal. Now it doesn't work that way it just increases from 10/650 to 25/750, just found a thread related with this issue but no answer. Is there a way to raise the initial limits different than calling Ebay or ageing? I would be more than happy to raise the limits of my new accounts to 100/3500.....25/750 implies loads of accounts in my particular case. Some help would be greatly appreciated.

hi im in the same boat it was probably my thread you read

25 items a month for a business is about 36 hours needed revenue for me great that is lol

last time this happened I called them and they were very helpful and didnt interrogate me on the phone I only havent done it this time because Im waiting for a few more feedback from items etc so it looks better

In my case 25/750 accounts implies that I should have about 40 accounts running to reach my usual performance, what a nightmare. What would be the ideal scenario to call ebay having this new accounts? how many feedbacks? How old?

That would depend on what you are selling and the risk they perceive attached to your account.

There are no hard and fast guidelines.

No hard and set rules as NoneOther indicated - only way is to 1) call them up 2) keep selling and hope your max changes over time.

Ideal scenario...none truly exists but some say safe to try after 90 days of selling history - others have done it quicker.

25/750 to 100/3500

Ummm, just wondering how some US members are selling brand new accounts with 100/3500 limit. I would like to know if somebody recently have had any luck to raise limits from 25/750 to 100/3500, maybe we can find a pattern...

isitworththestress 11-02-2012 09:40 AM

Best pattern would be listing the problem items that are causing all this crap, if you sell those items then sell something not a problem until you raise the limits.

yeff 11-03-2012 03:14 AM

Yes as has been said it all depends on the items/categories that you sell in on how ebay perceive the risk etc

Open up few accounts and build em up - same way - see what happens
