My back-ups are not inactive.

They visit ebay frequently and play.

Never know what can happen.

do inactive and active accounts get their limits increased dfferenty?

Yes - inactive have to be brought to life slowly and securely.

It best to use your accounts a few times a month, even if its just to browse. But I always sell a few items per month just to keep them ticking over in the eyes of ebay.

I try to rotate everyday to check in on an <inactive account> - browse, bid, whatever.
