Ebay account with 900 / Ģ12000

Hi, thought I would let you know of my experience.

I created a stealth account about 8 months ago and did a little selling gaining feedback, until I had gotten to 25 items per month then left it for couple of months.

I then started again 2 months ago sold out within 1st 5 days, so then waited till beginning of month and had been raised to 150 items.

I listed my items and once gain sold out with 15 days, also had quite a few second chance offers as well.

So then checked couple of days ago and I now have 900 listings and Ģ12000 monthly limit, just goes to show patience is rewarded.

Can now let my other accounts do the same and see what happens with them.

Also my Paypal is fully verified with all id checks done and passed.

Nice 1 yeff. how did you get round the id checks?

yeff 11-01-2012 06:56 PM

Just being creative :d

But I always have other accounts to use when taking it easy on others, that is the way to do it.

Just nice and slow.

As the missus would say

dburnside 11-02-2012 04:56 AM

Nice one yeff, if this works I will do the same for new accounts :)

dibley69 11-02-2012 08:22 AM

well done im hoping to go the same way have 3 accounts up to their limits so fingers crossed :-)

yeff 11-03-2012 02:53 AM

Yes with having these limits on this account does not now matter so much about limits on others, so can mature them nice and slow and just use this for main buisness.

sidebetz 11-03-2012 06:53 AM

does ebay still forces limits on new user?

the last account 2 accounts i made (2 month & 1 week ago) donīt have limitations.

does it varies from country to country?

it's hit and miss. i had 3 accounts, all created within a couple of weeks of each other. 2 had 25/750, the other appeared to have no limits

sidebetz 11-03-2012 07:16 AM

thats just weird, do you ditch those accounts with limitations immediately?

i donīt see the use of trying to push them.

derbydave 11-03-2012 07:19 AM

why ditch them? i'd rather have Ģ750/month x2, than nothing. money is money honey!

Why goto the lengths of creating the accounts and then just because they have some limits at 1st get rid.

Better to just create a few more if the limits are no good for you and age them slowly and the linits will increase.

rsot 11-04-2012 06:14 AM

Agree with that thinking yeff

yeff 11-04-2012 06:26 AM

Yes rsot, dont understand why you would want to bin a good account just beacause it has an initail limit of 10 items.

Just make 10 accounts and you either have 100 items or if lucky a couple with no limits at 1st.

yeff 11-04-2012 06:27 AM

I have sometimes rotated upto 20 accounts till you get where you want to be with them.

i guess the length of creating an account varies from country to country

I know it only takes 10 minutes or so to make an account, but it is just that you might as well use the account you have made and just make others if you need them.

Stupid to do that.

Always let ebay ditch an account.

Never do it of your own free will.

Just nurse any account along.

Reap the rewards like yeff has.

Win win for sellers

well i guess it depends on what your goals are, all i wanted to do was get back on ebay, i have one non-limited main account and thats that.

but still, i donīt really see the benefits of hussling through varies $500 limit accounts.

But I would always have at least a couple of backup accounts, as you never know if the worst is going to happen.

absolutley agree with this, having a back-up which sits put for a severals month is a must have. but still, if i can avoid having to sell with limited accounts, i would do so.

and thats that :ranger:

My back-ups are not inactive.

They visit ebay frequently and play.

Never know what can happen.
