Name on credit card

Hi. I've got a credit card issued from my bank issued in my real address and name (I've moved house since I got banned so the address is fine).

My name is banned. If I enter my stealth name with the real address for the card will paypal accept it onto the account? I don't need to add funds but I think it'll add a lot more credibility if it's a real card rather than a VCC.

It probably isn't possible but I thought I'd ask just in case.

Thanks again. :sleepy:

No one ever tried this :'(?

Yes it will work as p/p do not see the name on the card.

Providing the house number/name and post code on the card match the registered address on p/p then it will pass AVS and confirm the address as valid.

You're 100% sure about this? I really don't want to f**k up what is a pretty much perfect set up with a new address etc. thanks!

Yeah, noneother is right, I'm sure about it. When it asks you for the address on your credit card make sure to put the SAME address that's on your PAYPAL, not the one that's actually on your credit card.

I've done it a million times and it works. :)

Well I've moved so the address on paypal and my card are the same. I'll use my stealth name and hopefully the card will be accepted! I trust you guys!

Thanks :fight:

Don't know about the US but in the UK the address on p/p and the card must be the same otherwise it will not pass AVS. A card with a different address would not work.

In the US, there is one part of the address that is important to verify the credit card depending on the degree of security of the credit card provider and merchant, they will verify the zip code. Often, the address has no bearing on the approval as long as it is in the same zip code as your credit card address.

The only thing for UK cards is that the address on paypal MUST match the avs card check (your cards)..the name is irrevalnt BELIEVE ME i have 10 stealths with all my real name on the card..⊗⊗⊗⊗ stealths.

As far as I'm aware a card will pass as long as the house number & post code numbers are correct. The letters in the name & address are ignored.

I concur, address matters....the name does not matter

Which is exactly what I said in my original reply to the OP's question.

The other was related to using zip/postal code only with any address as practiced by some US members which would not work in the UK
