Need Help Verifying paypal with 3vprepaid voucher
 

Hi all,
I have been trying to do this as the title says but im a complete n00b and seem to be missing something.
I have got my prepaid voucher, I have registered it on the 3vprepaid website.
I have now got a new email and signed up for a fresh paypal account.
When signing up it asked me how I want to pay for goods. I choose the debit/credit card option and put in the 3v details.
Paypal then take £1 out of the 3v account.
Now what?
when I click on verify within paypal it asks me to add a bank account.
I dont have a sort code etc for this 3v voucher so what do I do?
I am sure im missing something obvious but as a n00b its not obious to me.

VCC's do not verify PayPal accounts.

Only a UK bank account can 'verify' a UK PayPal account

They took the pound to confirm that your card actually exists and is registered under the same details that you used during PayPal registration... many other companies do this as well so it's nothing unusual and has nothing to do with verification; in the UK you can only become verified after confirming your bank account.

So as it is, you have just added your card but it hasn't actually done anything to your account. Once you add a bank account and confirm it, and thereby become verified, they will allow you to confirm your 3v voucher and take an additional pound from it, and after you confirm the code that was associated with their fund debit from the Visa number, your address will become confirmed. This process cannot be completed until you add and confirm your bank account.

Oh i thought i could use it to verify an account hmmmm ok.
So how do I go about verifying a paypal in the UK stealth then?
and yes I have read the stealth guide but it doesn't offer much in the way of help for the UK specifically, so I am still confused.

You add a fresh UK bank account. Hit the search function theres lots of banks outlined in the UK that are good for stealth...

yeah i think i should clarify a point that I have missed.
I want to be completely anonymous.
I dont want to have a bank account in my name and use that to verify paypal.
I want to have a completely anonymous paypal account that I can top up with prepaid VCC's and use the PP account to pay for stuff completely anon.

is this even possible in UK?

There is no such thing as complete anonymity, only a semblance of it

You cannot verify a UK p/p account without adding and confirming a valid bank account.

As for being anonymous, if you have read the stealth guide then the anonymity aspect of doing this is explained i.e. p/p do not see the name on a bank account

You cannot top up a p/p account with a vcc only funds from a bank account

If you just want to pay for stuff and send money then a VCC is fine, and they will take the funds from there for any transaction if your PayPal balance is insufficient/zero... in fact I can't think of any instance where it would be better to keep a balance in the PayPal account rather than just letting them take the funds from your VCC. While there are some disadvantages to keeping a balance in your PayPal account...

You aren't too clear on whether this account is for selling or just buying exclusively. If this is just going to be a buyer account, you don't need a bank. Just use your VCC to pay for purchases.

I know about that but I need to be anonymous from others not just paypal. Thats why I dont want to use a real bank account or my real details. I was hoping there was some solution along the lines of a VBA (I know the UK doesn't have them).

Also I am hoping to receive payments to the paypal account and the use those funds to pay out as well, which is why I need more than just the vcc.

EDIT:this is for buying and selling, but not ebay. this will be for accepting donations to my project and using those donations to pay for hosting etc.

To be honest it does sound quite dodgy. Why are you so concerned about this whole anonymity thing? PayPal can't identify you from the bank so don't worry.

If you want to withdraw payments, then you are going to need a bank. No way around it. If you are fine just spending it, then you won't need a bank.

You don't say who specifically you are trying to keep your information from, in any of your posts so far. Why are you so concerned about this?

Either way, you have been told what you need to do... add your own bank account. No way around this if you want to verify and withdraw your funds.

I know, but I have said that its not paypal im trying to keep my info from, its everyone.
That includes everyone, meaning i want to be completely anonymous, or as close to it as possible.

My current anonymity relies on VCC's bought over the counter with cash. That enables me to pay for what I need, but I have no way to receive money, which is why I was hoping to have an anon paypal account. I can of course use bitcoins but not everyone is familiar with bitcoins.

Once again, there is no way around this if you want to verify your account and/or withdraw the money. There isn't anything else to tell you unfortunately... that's the way it is.

so what about if I setup a paypal account for another country then?
would I be able to do something that way?
maybe then transfer the money out of my overseas paypal to something else in order to get the money?

You can verify with a VCC in some countries' PayPal but then you still have the issue of withdrawing the money... you can only withdraw to a "real"/physical card issued in whatever country's PayPal that you wish to use. So it is still going to be a problem to get your cash regardless of where the PayPal account is registered.

Hopefully you now understand that it is going to be impossible for you to get your cash without a bank account.

hmm I do understand what your saying, but I know examples of where what I want to do, is being done, so I know the solution is out there somewhere its just a case of finding it.

They would be using some alternative cashout method such as freelancing sites or CCNow? Is that what you mean?

Such methods would be the only other way, so you won't find another way to do it even if you looked elsewhere. You would have to do something "indirect" like that as it is going to be impossible to get your cash "directly "without a real card (don't even try VCC withdrawals as it equals an instant limitation) or bank account linked to your PayPal.

If you know for sure it is being done then you would also know how it is being done. Otherwise take our word for it...we know all the ways.
