ebay warning before listing
 

Are you attempting to list a counterfeit or non-authentic item? Are you aware the listing of such items is not allowed on eBay?

running a stealth verified and bout 2 - 3 months old

listing a used like new ps3 game i get the following msg before finalising the listing

"If you continue, your listing will be flagged and promptly reviewed. If your listing appears to offer a counterfeit or non-authentic item, it will be ended and your eBay account could be suspended. We may also refer your listing to the relevant company or law enforcement for review.

If the item is authentic, we encourage you to provide more information in your listing. If it comes with a Certificate of Authenticity or has a serial number please state this in your listing.

any one else get this ,, shoud i list or would not listing also look odd as i cant verify as using stealth details

Is it worth drawing attention to yourself or your stealth for one ps3 game ?
I would leave it personally .

Wouldnt risk it until the account has a chance to age a bit more. That is still considered high risk for an account that young.

You already got your answer from ebay

If you have counterfeit goods DO NOT LIST

If your goods are authentic go ahead

ebay are doing you a favour.

They are saying be careful what you do.

Personally I commend eBay for doing this.

Another tactic used to free their site from the counterfeit garbage that has driven away our buyers.

items is official and used but dont want them to investigate my account , if they ask to verify my identitiy well then its game over for this account cant provide any address / photo id really ......


any 1 else get this or is it just a case of them ( as suggeted) getting rid of any liability and they dont really check anything


item is fine but no way of proving that on a listing so will they just assume its ⊗⊗⊗⊗

I get that message on every account, including an account from 2002.

In general nothing happens to the listing. I think you would be ok to list a ps,3 game as iv never had a listing pulled. Including when I sold a ps3 game as my first sale on a one month old account.
