Question about IP address
 
If i'm a UK ebay and Uk paypal account will i have problems if my IP address is in the USA ( this is with a Virtual machine) ?

Short answer........yes.

Public IP addresses are assigned by your ISP, nothing to do with virtual machine.

Great care needs to be taken when deciding on a service for using another countries IP, most are known to e/b and p/p.

Virtual machines dont MAKE your IP UK-based - your PROVIDER does...you need to look at VPS or remote pc access for UK IP obtaining

the windows azure is hosted on a USA server so it showing a IP address from over there. what i was thinking is a similar thing to windows azure that host the VM on a UK server. Any recommendation would be great or anyone that uses VM

If anyone is using a VPS without hassle from e/b or p/p I guess they will keep that info pretty close to their chest.
