Ebay selling limit confirmarion pls help
 

Hi

i have ebay account for 10 months now and started selling again but im limited to 10 listing per month and if i want to lift the limits i will have to confirm with paypal.


my ebay account name and address is different to my paypal account and so if i confirm with paypal will my ebay and paypal account be detected and closed?

also, how can i liff the selling limits without confirming with paypal?

pls advise

why is your eb details different to pp ?

Considering the fact that your Paypal and ebay accounts have different info I'm surprised you havent been limited yet even though you haven't linked them.

The only way to lift selling limits is to gain their trust. They usually increase my selling limits on my accounts after around 6 months as long as i haven't had too many problems. You can email them and as for an increase on your selling limits. Its worth a try.

You need all info to match completely or risk getting suspended if review is done. I would recommend you restart if not too late.

As for lifting limits without confirming/verifying PP...perhaps other UKers will comment.

Agree with RSOT this ones going nowhere unless you can offer a valid matched PP
Bin the PP as you have a decent 10 month eb and reopen a pp to match the eb details
then they will look at it again .

Personally I would leave these accounts as they are and start again with a completely new e/b and p/p accounts that have all matching info.

You will in all probability get the same selling limits but changing any registration info on these existing accounts is going to get them closed down pretty quickly.

Yes they will close both, maybe not at the same time but they will both go down eventually.

if i created 2 ebay accounts and later on lifting selling limits with same name and address with paypal account will ebay close my 2 ebay accounts because of multiple accounts?

You really should purchase the stealth guide just so you can grasp the basics of operating a stealth account.

I mean, unless one of the accounts has been attached to a limited or other accounts before , i Peronally see no problems as long as 1 or 2 things are adeerted to. < if thats how you spell it :-)

What i mean you can have PP in one set of details

Ebay in another, no problem for long lasting account, just make sure nothing has been used before and you have proof if id

Imo there about (less than 10) that give good sound advice on this site (uk section), some just post what they read, other are in the feild so to speak listen to them.

do you mean that if my ebay regsitered name and address is different to my paypal name an address i can still lift selling limits by confirming with my paypal with the different name and address on it, and it will not get linked, asked for ID or closed, even though they dont mach?

Not a given I'm afraid.

Ideally all info on both accounts should match completely.

Most processes, including lifting limits are automated and differing info on accounts may well get through ok.

However when it comes to a manual review, which every account will undergo at some stage, it is likely to be picked up and the account limited with a request for more info i.e. ID and address verification.

At this stage you could well have major problems in saving the accounts.

It is easier and safer to have fully matching info on e/b and p/p accounts from the outset if they are to have any real chance of longevity.
