Default o2 Mobile Broadband Network ip problem

I have recently purchased the huawei unlocked e3131 dongle and i have also changed network before i was on the 3 network it was really slow so i checked the coverage on o2 it was way better then 3

Now there is a problem i found out today the o2 ip is dynamic but it changes ip every time i refresh the page i tested it on ip burger and what is my ip address at the same time refreshing both pages the ips keep changing so i put the 3 sim back in the problem is gone

Anyone on the o2 network help please

It must be dropping the connection and reconnecting.

Probably a tech issue with the O2 transmitter in your area, it will probably be ok tomorrow if they are aware of the issue.

There is a link on their website you can use to check for service issues in your area.

Could be a dongle issue - troubleshoot the dongle if it persists

There is nothing wrong with the dongle because i tested on the 3 network and the ip stays the same it is still happening today on the o2 network i can not even log in my stealth accounts at the moment because the ip keeps changing and i am worried i will get duplicate ips

Is there any one on this forum that is on the o2 network??

Yes, I use an O2 sim and dongle and have no issues with IP's.

I assume you have set up the correct APN settings in the connection manager software?

I think it maybe the dongle that is causing the problem i don't have the o2 connection managers software because this is not a o2 dongle it is the unlocked to all networks it has it's own software

Maybe i should get the original o2 dongle do you think this might be the case?

Should work fine with any connection manager, however you may need to update the drivers as 3's can be a bit funny.

There are also unbranded 3rd party connection softwares that you could download and try.

TBH I dont think it is the dongle as I use all sorts with various sims which I interchange all the time without a problem

Is the return policy on the dongle still valid? Try an exchange?
