Default Best way to keep books...

Hi people, just curious to the best way to keep all your accounts from eBay.

Im starting my business up as a soletrader and will probably sell about 10-20 items a day. What is the best way to keep all the records. Manually put all the data onto a spreadsheet? or is there any quicker/easier way?

Thanks

Manual Labour is tiring.

Make use of your 'pooter.

Develop a friendship with excel quickly.

Use Excel, record net income (amount drawn down from PP) & deduct any other allowable expenses (ebay fees, unless you happen to pay them by payapl in which case they will have been accounted for in net income, stationery, post, materials etc.)
Works for me & never queeried by my accountant or inland revenue.
Might not work for you if you're VAT registered, check it out

I think I will stick to excel just to get used to it then see how I go

I import a few things here and there also for my small business, do I need to included customs charge into my accounts, or do you just keep simple accouns, what item you have bought and the total amount paid?

Thanks in advance :P
