Failed trying to add a debit card
 

I have managed to add a bank account to paypal, now I need to add a credit card.

I tried to add a credit card which is in my real name and address and it hasn't worked. My real name and address is banned so have i messed up here?

I'm not sure if paypal get to see the name and address on my card or if they just know the details don't match.


If I get a prepaid card is it OK to add it to this paypal account or do I need to start all over again?

Adding your real bank debit or credit card will not work if using a stealth address because it will not pass AVS (Address Verification System)

They do not see the name on the card and a prepaid will work providing it has the same registered address as that on your p/p account

This is why VCC's are used.

Thank you for your help. I was worried that I had ruined the paypal account. I will get an entropay card and add that instead.
