When isit "OK" To add a UK bank account
 

Going to open 3 stealths and sell 10 items on them and try to remain stealth.

If i add a UK bank account will i automatically get 25 allowance in ebay? After a month on all 3 accounts selling different low risk items.

Not on new accts.
Normally takes a few months for limits to rise if all is well.
But there is no set pattern some get big limits straight away some take ages.
All in the luck of the draw when it comes to EB nothing is logical .

So i shouldn't risk my bank accounts.

One problem is i can valid about 2 account locations when eBay send out the letter in post or PayPals.

So the smart thing would to create over 10+ accounts. Let them age with time.

So when would you add a UK bank account?

My items are electronical around £12 each - Are these high risk to crank out now? I have over 500 sitting here.

I have random bits and bobs my parents have wanted me to eBay for AGES. :rolleyes:

You cannot sell on e/b UK in any worthwhile way without a verified p/p account.

In order to have a verified p/p account you need to add a bank account to it.

There is no need to add a bank account to e/b, it's madness to do so because if they ever try to take funds from it then you would be busted as they would see your real info.

Gives you a sort and account no. That ok for verification then?

I dont EVER push stealth accounts.
I never ask for increases or sell high risk items on them .
Spread your wings and dont rely on a couple of accts.
I add bank accts to paypal even before the EB acct is created then link them and just sit back and wait for it to mature.
Electronic items if branded are very high risk , non branded are are just high risk .
Your last statement of random bits is the way i would go on new accts.

Had a 07 account, 100 allowance, 100% feedback, sold for 6 months made over £4,900 in just PROFIT. At 18 with no living expenses this was amazing.

Then i rung up, got a 250 allowance. Making a solid £2000 a month for 2 months.

Ring up for a 800 allowance. Boom suspended for ever :(( :attention::attention::attention::attention:

I am computer savvy...and brought the book, getting my head around this all is exciting and i wanna get back doing my electrical goods even if it means waiting 3-6 months.

Any solutions for a bank account, as in a online thing that gives u a sort code and account no? I have about 6 local branches of different ones and i could open up a current account on the day and enjoy.

I bought a clio and now a finance on a 1.4 audi a4 white 09...and 3,200 a year insuance.. if i have no eBay i am flat out broke so am desperate to do this right !lol

You need to be doing some serious research before you go any further.

As for bank accounts, these are easy to come by but DO NOT apply for current accounts.

The 25 is actually automatic when you confirm your PayPal... it's anything past that that isn't so certain.

I recently made a new stealth with confirmed and verified PP attached to EB, but only got a limit of 10...not 25.

Click on increase selling allowance in ebay and it will take you to paypal and give you 25 :d
