trouble logging in to accounts
 

anyone having difficulty logging into ebay today ?

it keeps returning to the saign in screen constantly on a couple of accounts

either a site glitch or cookie issue

not keen on clearing them though

Yes had it loads of times previously on different accounts. Mine is OK today however, I just used to change browser and should work.

I cleared cookies once and it worked that was months ago

No trouble today - which platform - .uk.co? I was testing eb.uk.co on Friday and it had a glitch to load up

yes was .co.uk

had to end up deleting cookies and history then worked fine

Hmm could be a browser glitch on your end then.

apart from 1 account

i cant sign into

doing the same thing returning to the sign in screen

tried it with different browsers and created a new windows user and its still the same

my accounts still there and listings visible as a guest

every ebay customer service agent is a brain dead moron

I would suggest that you once restart your computer, than get back to us.

i have done 7 times today

Because we have done all that need to be but for the changes to take effect you need to restart it.

Been horrendous.

Was using Firefox & CHROME with results like yours.

Changed to Mountain Lion on the Apple and all is fine.
Avoided a plague call to the ebay lack of customer service luckily.

GB it turns out the issue was the one described in my other thread RE new procedures, had quite a chat with a good CS rep yesterday

I've had this issue with PayPal recently. Eventually they give up and let me log in though.

I have had this issue all day on one of my PayPal accounts...

"We're sorry, but we're having trouble logging you in. Please try again."

SO I do as instructed and it just keeps returning me to that message. So frustrating. Has anybody else had this with PayPal?

Not been able to get into PP since about 5pm yesterday. Just when they sort out fast payments they find a new way to keep hold of your money :nono:
