Default Entropay Issue....still working

Evening Guys,

So got a good stealth account going on Ebay and PP but i want to raise my ebay selling allowance to 100 and 4.5....the usual once you've done the bank and card.

I need to add a vcc to my paypal and so went and got an entropay card again. However my card number is just 0000 0000 0000 0000

This seems odd...I mean the other numbers are there: start and ep dates and the three digit code....but that load of zeros is worrying. I want to avoid a default pp limit basically as it's a good account.

Have any of you tried a 0000 0000 0000 0000 card - was it okay or am i being rightly paranoid?

thanks

You need to transfer funds to the car before you get the card number. And by the way, these days you only get 25/£750 limits when you raise the selling limits.

There is no 'usual' increase in selling allowances anymore.

A card number full of zeros is not a valid card, you obviously have an issue with the vcc you created.

Use that on p/p and I wouldn't be surprised if you got an instant limitation

Do you remember when you used to add the card and the allowance would go up? Are you saying that'sno longer the "average" case?

Adding a card never raised your selling limits... getting verified/adding a bank does that. And it used to be 100/£3500 but now it's 25/£750 like I said in my first post, that you get when you request higher selling allowances.

ffs. Yeah i have 25 and 750 at the moment. So in that case (i just found out the long number btw by adding funds as you said) is there any point in adding the card to paypal...if it's not going to achieve anything?

It will confirm your address and function as a funding source for purchases/eBay fees when you don't have enough money in your account. That is all that it will do for a UK account.

hmm - so it's a phone call to ebay to get them to raise selling limits nowadays is it? I see. Sorry to reaffirm this: so absolutely no way this is going to default to 100/3.5k - not wishful thinking don't worry just want to be sure.

Phoning e/b to raise limits these days has risks and your right there is no way it's going to 100/3.5K even with a successful phone call.

Spot on.

If you sell to your limits, keeping your account and DSRs in order they will go up.

OR you wait and let the account naturally age into higher limits - I am not a fan of calling up eB with demands
