| | | | | Tillyboo | 01-27-2013 01:05 PM | Bought the book but still don't understand?!? Hi All,
I would really appreciate some tailored advice if possible. I have bought the ebay stealth book and must have read through it around 12 times but it still doesn't answer my questions, hence why i have come on here to ask for any advice possible.
I got my account limited by ebay and i am wanting to set up a new stealth ebay and paypal account. I understand what i need to do as regards to the ip address, user accounts, new name, address and phone number etc, however i am a little baffled when it comes to the bank accounts.
I am fortunate enough to have a relative who will allow me to use their details i.e. address, name and d.o.b and they have also said i can use their credit card for verification. I plan to use my partners debit card as the main card on paypal as he has never used that card with ebay before.
My question is, does my partners debit card have to be registered to the stealth address? Also, does the credit card have to be registered to the stealth address? Any advice you can give me would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Tilly :) |

Also, don't use the relative's details - bad news all round. |
| Tillyboo | 01-27-2013 01:34 PM | Thank you so much for your quick reply.
Could i ask why it is a problem to use the debit card attached to a bank account?
Also, why would it be a bad idea to use my relatives details? It says in the book that it is the easiest and cheapest option. Also my relative is also my business partner so he does have an invested interest.
Sorry for all the questions, i just want to make sure i am getting everything right before i set the stealth accounts up :) |
| Tillyboo | 01-27-2013 01:39 PM | Also, if i used entro pay as the main debit card on paypal, how would i go about using a credit card to get my paypal verified in order to increase my listing allowance? I only have one credit card and it has been used on my old paypal account. Thanks |
| Global | 01-27-2013 01:49 PM | You link your bank account to the paypal account and then link the ebay account to paypal in order to get your selling allowances lifted.
As long as ebay can verify you they will lift the allowances.
Its slow going, but one of my accounts went from £650, to £3500 with the bank account linked and is currently sitting at £16,500 per month. |

I have one more question, it says you have to get your account verified by using a vcc, so if i use entropay as a vcc, but the real debit card details as the main payment method on paypal would this be correct, or can anyone please clarify this for me?
Thanks in advance |

Thanks in advance | In the UK, only a bank account can verify a Paypal account. |
| Tillyboo | 01-27-2013 03:40 PM | Ok Thanks, and does the bank account have to be registered to the stealth address? Also, why is there a need for both the bank account and a prepaid card? |
| Roscoe | 01-27-2013 04:34 PM | Do NOT follow the stealth guide as though it were the Bible. The guide is about 2 years old and has not been updated.
This is why Aspkin has this forum, for constant Updates.
Even if the guide were updated today parts of it will be obsolete in 6 months.
Lot's of reading to do.
Slow and Steady wins this race. |
You can learn everything you need to create stealth accounts from the book. To keep em running for years you need to keep up to date with changes reported on this forum.
We are all still learning, discussing bank accounts, prepaid cards, IP addresses, on the look out for the latest scams, etc etc. |
| Tillyboo | 01-27-2013 05:16 PM | Thanks Roscoe, I understand that :)
I have been reading through the forums for the past couple of weeks, and i think i maybe finally understanding it a bit more.
I know i have a lot more reading to do though, but i'll get there :) |
| Tillyboo | 01-27-2013 05:19 PM | Thank you for your reply sax4 :)
I started off on the last pages of the uk ebay and paypal forums and i am working my way up to the top page. This may not be the best way to go about it in terms of getting up to date information, but i have felt that starting from the beginning so to speak has made it a lot more understanding. |

Thanks in advance | Not a good choice to attach a real debit card for any reason. Always preferable to make use of the vcc (like entropay) which are made in the matching stealth name. |

| Tillyboo | 01-27-2013 05:56 PM | Thank you so much for clarifying Greenbean. That has really helped. Infact you've all been super helpful, and so have the forums in general.
I was under the impression you needed a debit card to receive payments and credit card to verify, but i understand now that you only need to use the vcc to get verified on paypal.
I should know paypal never asked for both debit and credit card details, as i had a legit account for well over a year that recently got limited, but i guess i forgot because it was so long ago and my mind has been all over the place recently trying to think of ways around earning a living again.
Thank you so much for all of your help :) |
