MC999 Buyer Account Suspended
 

My buyer account was recently suspended. I was really worried at first as it uses the same paypal as my other 2 selling accounts. However it has been over 3 weeks now and my selling accounts are up and running... selling as before and are not banned.

Anyone know how this is possible? Name, Address, Phone, PayPal information is exactly the same on buyer account as on 2 seller accounts. Also these 3 accounts were set up around 2005. Does this make a difference? Why did eBay not link and ban?

It can take some time for the bots to catch up with your linked accounts but they usually do in the end.

When they do you will lose those accounts too.

Take the time you have to make new stealth accounts and develop them.

NoneOther is correct - sooner or later it may catch up to you. I would begin new stealths right away - and it looks like your buyer account was suspended because you are trying to cause a lot of problems for sellers - stop it. Please dont cheat other sellers by harassing with negative feedback and asking for partial returns.

Why did you ask for refunds from sellers ? Were you bidding (with you buyer account) on your own items listed with your seller accounts to increase feedback ? And then you asked for refund to save ebay fee charged from seller accounts ?
This might be the reason otherwise buyer accounts are not suspended for slight abuse.

Buyer accounts ARE suspended for any repeated abuse of e/b policies.
