Selling items on new ebay account

Say I bought a 1month old ebay account with 10+ feedback from this forum with a paypal account. I'd also buy a VCC and add it onto the paypal account to start selling.

Let me add I haven't been selling on ebay for over a year and I heard a lot has changed.

Let's say I were to sell an item (possibly a faulty tv that I obviously have for sale) with the above mentioned account. The buyer would send me for example £300 on paypal. What would I have to do to use this money?

I have heard that paypal do not let you use/withdraw the money until the buyer has received the item. Is this correct? Or does this only apply to new users with 0 feedback?

Would a 1month 10 feedback account with a VCC be alright to sell a tv and would paypal put the money on hold or would I be able to use it right away?

Regards.

let's say if you did any of what you suggested, you will be back here wondering why your paypal got limited ( for starters).

Not a good plan at all, in any shape or form.

Not good. You now need to work out why??

You should have brought the guide before the account.

I started 4 months ago.

I now have 50 accounts with no holds and 5 with no selling limits.

Life is good.

Thanks aspkin.

Welcome to the forums. Time to solve the issue and go stealth with new accounts.

Bunneh 03-12-2013 05:16 PM

You can most certainly buy a stealth account and add a VCC to the paypal account.
You cannot sell any 'HIGH RISK' items on the account to start with as you are asking for a suspension. Always start small & low $$$ to build a name for yourself with ebay and paypal.
You have to earn there trust.
If you start selling off items that are with £300 value, then expect your time on the account to be short lived.

If you wish to withdraw from paypal, browse the forums a little more and see what other UK ebay sellers do. I also strongly advise you read ebay stealth more to avoid anything further limiting you from both ebay and paypal altogether.

50! Accounts!!! Wow... Does that mean you have 50 bank accounts and 50 different addresses???? I'm struggling to get access to more than one address! Lol

last3379 03-12-2013 07:14 PM

The address's are stealth and I'm assuming the banks are VBA's so how do you withdraw the funds is what I'd like to know?

Thanks in advance :)

You have to sell unbranded, no name households items on any new account not matter what.

Build accounts slow.

List slow, list non risky items etc.

Have multiple back ups.

I build "baby stealth" accounts into power house accounts by going slow and listing the right things from the get go.

I have hundreds of accounts up and running and never lose an account.

I remember when I thought like you guys, never again. I have access to one address. And 3 bank accounts. And I reuse all my banks.

Can people start being creative before shouting 'you need 50 bank accounts and 50 asdresses' err no you don't. Think like that and eBay and PayPal will run you. I run them. I'm 19.

50 accounts
that must take some time logging all the ips lol

I log in and out of 40-50+ accounts a day and never linked, never lose and account.

Sure it takes time. But it pays off. I work my business 16 hours a day most days with time off for family, meals, kids etc in between working and doing other things. But I am on my chair no less then 16 hours most days. And Mondays is packing day so less time on the chair on Monday.

I flip 20 or so accounts per week x 4 weeks a month so I am rotating accounts around all the time.

As far as a new account goes I only list yard sale, household type items for a while before doing anything name brand, antique etc.

Lol fair enough.. But I was relaying the common notion on this forum that the safest way to go stealth with more than one account is to have completely separate bank accounts, addresses and PayPal accounts for each and every account.
I'm pretty sure this is what the stealth guide also stipulates even though it does say you can have a few ebays accounts per PayPal account.

You reuse bank accounts? Do you mean add new and/or separate accounts to the same bank?

rsot 03-15-2013 02:24 AM

Think he means same bank but NEW bank accounts for pp...perhaps sub accounts and online creation.

skrapzdaghost 03-15-2013 02:35 AM

Say I sell 50 items worth £1 and get all positive feedback. If I sell something later on will paypal put a hold on my payment until the item is delivered? I heard that's what they do now.

By the way withdrawing is simple. I've done it many times before on accounts without my bank account on them. I buy ukash cards online and pay via paypal then deposit them on some site e.g. skypoker.com or 888.com and then withdraw them tax free
