Does anybody know if there are benefits to opening a business PayPal account under a real company LLC than say sole proprietor? Does it make any odds?

you mean ltd company...the principal name and month/year of birth and address, is publically viewable online, so bear it in mind...it can be done but a banned name and dob or address is not advisable...
