Added a bank account and then changed my mind
 

Hi,
Yesterday I added a hsbc bank account to an unverified paypal account with limits, I realised that the paypal account would be going anywhere and that it was a waste of a bank account so I immediately removed it (having never made withdrawals etc) and have bought a package from an exec on here instead.

Will I be able to reupload the bank account into the new paypal having never used it or is it now dead to paypal?

Hi. From previous experience, you can not use that bank account again as it is already on their system.

Let others agree then make ur own mind up.

Also, with HSBC, their savers work good, so look into it - don't run 'too' much money through hsbc coz they will close your account if it is a personal one - business account u can run upto 15g a year, then people start sniffing about your business - as with many of the banks


Yes, its F'ing ALPS - I am back, so hopefully they will let me stay - still got my attitude but trying to keep it under control - still super clued up, so handy to have knocking about. XxX

if you just added it but never confirmed it eg. never got the deposits, then you can use it on another paypal..

actually just an amendment....you can actually get deposits sent to the bank but as long as you DO NOT INPUT them in to paypal to confirm, then you are ok to re-use the bank acc - sorry just remembered.....

this is for UK rsot, the reason I know this procedure is because I did it myself.

it could but nothing has happened to either of mine. The one I added it to first is not banned and still going though, I just changed my mind and used a different bank.

you can use it however if a paypal gets suspended for any reason i am sure the other will also get suspended as they are obviously linked
