Ebay keeps charging .36p per picture

Anyone else having this problem?
For the last 3 days ebay is charging .36p per additional picture instead of .12p

Doesnt seem to be anyway around it, I have tried revising items, relisting etc

I havent contacted ebay

Have you selected additional options by accident? Supersize photo? Gallery? Other features? Check the options on your auction listings

generousclaw 04-03-2013 02:10 PM

No extras at all, but it kept doing it all day. Just listed 2 more things and it was back to .12p

So a glitch - glad you got it resolved.

Should 12+ pics per item per listing be free?

sweetie 04-03-2013 08:00 PM

Is it possible for you to use a photo hosting site to link to and therefore not pay at all for extra pictures?

Yes but you have to display them in the listings. A few power seller clients of mine who i designed there shop, i made a listing that shown 10 different photos and had links to view them in bigger with thumbnails of the photos...You can find this on most big shops...

Business Seller News - Spring 2013

From 1 August, you’ll be able to upload up to 12 pictures to each of your listings free of charge.

As a result, Picture Pack will no longer be available, but you’ll still be able to enhance your listings by purchasing Supersize. This feature will remain at the same price as before.

Using more pictures makes your listing more attractive to buyers, so make the most of this opportunity to improve your listings with additional pictures.

wow thanks imposter didn't know that

ebanned 04-07-2013 10:59 AM

Your doing a 30 days listing, so its charges 36p per additional picture for the month, unlike 12p for upto 10 days. Hope this helps.

Also just use photobucket and add the html code to your listings. Better quality, looks more professional and its free. Another good hosting site is jpegbay which lets you do free thumbnail picture packs.

ebanned, THAT'S IT !

Thank you for hitting the nail on the head.

Thanks everyone else too, I will now check out the photo hosting sites.

Not a problem... Glad I could help
