Opening 2nd account - Reg Issues
 

I have 1 ebay account linked to 1 paypal account.

I am set to open a second ebay account to link to the 1 paypal account.

I understand the details have to match on the two ebay accounts.

My problem is this...

The registration details on the original ebay account. the reg address has changed since original opening of the account ten years ago so the current reg address and phone number are NOT in the same area. i have never changed the phone number on the account, so for example the address is in manchester, but the phone number is in liverpool, which is where the original reg address was. FOR EXAMPLE.

When i come to registering my new ebay account i will use same info but what should i do about the phone number? Should i update it on my current ebay then use the new phone number on 2nd ebay or will the phone number that is not in the same address area work etc?

if this makes sense, please help.

If you are going to add a landline number, it is better to use one that is specific to the area.

I'd update the phone number on account 1 before proceeding.

When registering the 2nd ebay account, what are suggested for bank/cc details on the ebay reg? do i need to input a bank account/cc card etc?

you do not need to put a bank acct or credit card on the eb ay

Is it ok then to use same phone number as current ebay?

same name/address/phone number...

just new email address but linked to original paypal.

one issue i have is DOB on original ebay account....cannot remember it as its 10 year+ old...

will it b an issue if i use a different DOB?

not good that you cant remember dob mate

can you remember anything about the date of birth

people can and do mis type info
